SEWING FOR BEGINNERS
Want to learn to use a sewing machine?
Learn how to sew using a sewing machine with this fun and creative series for those just starting out or anyone needing to refresh their memory of how to sew.
This is a series meant to be taken in its entirety. We will cover different weekly subjects about sewing machines and their usage.
To use the sewing machine, you MUST attend first class to use the sewing machine in future lessons.
If you cannot attend, please contact us to schedule a time to be trained.
- Class 1: September 10 at 10 a.m.- Introduction to the sewing machine
- Class 2: September 17 at 10 a.m.- First sewing project
- Class 3: September 24 at 10 a.m.- Sewing from a pattern
- Class 4: October 1 at 10 a.m.- Basic Alterations and Library Resources
Whether you want to learn to sew clothes, are looking for a creative outlet, or just want to learn a new skill, this beginner’s course will teach you all the sewing basics.
